Who i am
Some people are born right brain dominant and some are born left. At an early age with my box of 64 Crayolas I felt like the richest person in the world because I could draw pretty pictures using all the bright beautiful colors like magenta, green and yellow. It didn’t take long to realize I related to the world in colors. Ask me today if I’ve read a particular book, I’ll ask you ‘what color was the cover?’.
Then sometime along the way I discovered I love math. Who doesn’t love a problem that is waiting to be solved. Even those dreaded story problems made my brain light up. Loved science too, but it was different than math in that there isn’t always a ‘right’ answer.
Could it be that I’d be fortunate enough to get to incorporate all of my strengths in my chosen career path? Could it be not only would I get to ‘draw pretty pictures’ all day but also get to ‘solve problems’? Ahhh, the world of a creative merged with the intellect of a marketing professional is a wonderful place to be.
